Why I Love Being a Personal Trainer
Meeting new people and sharing my passion for health and fitness is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. My proudest moments come from helping clients of all ages and fitness levels achieve better health, longevity, and a sense of confidence they never thought possible. Witnessing these transformations keeps me inspired and motivated every day.
How I Became a Trainer
Physical activity and strength training have always been central to my life. While my primary career involves managing acute and chronic illnesses, I wanted to expand my focus to injury and illness prevention. Becoming a personal trainer allows me to combine my education and passion to help others live healthier, more vibrant lives.
My Advice for Beginners
Just take it one day at a time! The key is to show up and trust the process. Communication is essential—let your trainer know what you like, dislike, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll create a plan that works for you and sets you on the path to success.
Why Fitness Matters to Me
Fitness isn’t just about physical health—it’s a cornerstone of mental well-being, quality sleep, and healthier relationships. Staying active helps prevent injuries and chronic illnesses while empowering you to build a stronger connection with yourself and others.
Get To Know Your Trainer
I grew up swimming competitively year-round and continued throughout high school. While I dabbled in basketball, softball, and cheerleading, swimming was my main sport. Now, I enjoy playing pickleball and tennis, walking my red lab Griffin, and spending time with my family. Griffin, by the way, keeps life interesting by hiding our socks and shoes around the house!
In my free time, I love playing cards and being with my 10-year-old boy/girl twins, who always keep me on my toes.
Why Train with Me?
I believe in creating a personalized, approachable experience for each client. My goal is to help you take control of your health in a way that feels manageable and sustainable. Together, we’ll focus on long-term, gradual improvements that make fitness a permanent part of your lifestyle.
